På vej til dansk (On the way to Danish) is the textbook used in SLI's Danish language classes "DAN 1A - 1B - 1C." This textbook starts you off at the beginning with introductions and ways to learn about/understand where people come from, their ages, telephone numbers, living situations, etc. Then it moves to presentations, including nationality, languages, and introduces short phrases indicating time periods. Subsequent chapters cover school, work, transportation, family, clock time, daily life activities, plans, wishes, places, food, shopping, money, health and lifestyle, television, housing, education, geography, weather, and Danish society. There are exercises in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation in every chapter. There is a free accompanying set of audio files you can access at Synope, the publishers' website.
