Used Berlitz Danish-English and English-Danish pocket dictionary.  Simple translations, usually without idiomatic phrases, some grammar info.  Good for travel.  The Berlitz dictionaries are the only print dictionaries I'm aware of that include some kind of attempt to indicate pronunciation.  These attempts should be handled VERY carefully by the novice.  They are based on a system devised in the 1800's that is based on Received British English and are at times highly misleading.  This book includes an extensive food list but this is only from English to Danish, some basic Danish phrase translations, how to talk about time, a metric conversion table, and a list of the Danish irregular verbs.  A very short grammar section is also included.
